‘Stories of the strong and tender’
Co-oporation with fotographer Annick Ligtermoet and Graphic designer Iteke Hemkes for an editorial in the Italian Drome magazine. For the styling we used only items from young dutch fashiondesigners to take them allong to an international stage.
We wanted to create fictive scenes from dramatic love stories in an opera or theater-like invironment. The situations are in between the borders of onstage and backstage and on many of the photos there is an activity of people working, talking or doing something else wich makes the subject of the picture even more lonely. Reality and fiction are woven into eachother with no clear boundries, creating an atmosphere like in an ominous dream.
