‘l’Esthétique Electrique’
Graduation project Design Academy Eindhoven ’06.
Between the powersocket and the lamp excists a gray area in the interior when it comes to the design of cables and other electricity related objects. This made me come up with stories about the beauty and danger of electricity which where translated in to a series of animations. These led to the designs of the products of this project. Black beetles guide the cable allong the wall, oily fluid comes driping into the room, a watchdog is guarding the powersocket and a small blackbird who dreams of being powerfull like the eaguls charges himself on a plug.
